Manuiti is our Junior team made up of seven hubs, Pūkeko Tahi, Pūkeko Rua, Kākāriki, Kererū and Ruru. Our classrooms range from Year 0-2. We apply the principals of The Science of Reading and Learning. This involves our teachers planning and teaching using a systematic, explicit, cumulative approach that is underpinned by evidence-based practices. We teach a cumulative knowledge based curriculum that exposes students to a range of curriculum areas, that build on one another to prepare them for future success. In mathematics, our curriculum is structured around three core strands: Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability.
